how smooth is the gameplay? i have the older versions on disc and would like to purchase something newer on their site.

I find it very smooth to be honest, then this is their more recent release so maybe its a bit more optimised than the previous ones. If you look out, occasionally they have a wee sale on the various games on they're website.
