Thanks for uploading! Expertly crafted series, excellent writing, directing, and acting. Everything today is just non-stop action - they don't take time to create interpersonal intrigue and build interest. I'll be watching these till the day I croak.

Absolutely it was way before it's time this was superb writing once in a lifetime show with real actors not computer animation

I have seen some folks be hyper-critical of the shows (technically), but if you look past that, there are things to learn, especially for civilians. Pay attention, they are subtle...but profound. Pay attention to details....that's what usually bites you in the butt. Be wise, be thorough.

In the monastery they are smoking French cigarettes - flattened oval not round. Really good directing and attention to detail!

Cage acknowledges God with a sign of the cross and genuflextion . Don't see that on prime time t.v. today

Probably because the other characters aren’t Catholic. Other religions won’t know that’s what you’re supposed to do. Just sayin …

Pretty cool cage gives the bad guy a smoke next cut back pulling tobacco from his lips, no filters on these ones, for those who like to do nothing but criticize the show. Bloopers are one thing but constant down grading is another don't like the show don't watch.

It's too bad the spy, Asher, didn't realize that the squad always kills every German they encounter. Then he wouldn't have tried anything.

first off...no...they don't. Secondly, if it's not entertaining...it doesn't sell. Thirdly, it's meant to be reflective of various squads at various times, so naturally heroism and winning are emphasized. It's TV...get it?

Asher got what he deserved - death by his fellow Germans. Karma.

Different variant of the "redemption by death" theme, or maybe we should say "punishment fits the crime" or "karma's a bit--"). You just had to know he was going to "get it" as soon as he shot the first American...

Yes but the point is that he got it from his own men :-)

I felt good as soon as the German spy was killed by his comrades who were Germans .
