We had radar in 1941 in Hawaii, 2 operators reported in on planes approaching, it was dismissed because we were expecting a flight of B-17,s from the main land. Hence for pearl harbour really happened

If the G2 tech sergeant had told them what a radar station looked like they would have known that the tiny antennae on the factory building was nothing like a 40 ft x 30 ft radar installation of that era.

+Dan Studybaker No - the Germans wanted them to knock out the dummy station and radio back it was destroyed (that's why they had to be sure and kill the tech expert). Then when the bombers went on the big raid the real German radar station could track them and vector the fighters in.
