Russian army fighter jet and other aircrafts. In this documentary we’ll tell you about everything related to the aircraft squadron at the Khmeimim air base. Real combat missions across half of the country to the regions controlled by the militants, the fighter sweep against the vehicles and fortifications of the terrorists, launching of unguided rockets from the altitude of 5 kilometers. But most importantly - the amazing precision of the hits. That said, everything will be show from the pilots’ perspective: we installed action-cameras right onto the Su-25 frontline fighter pilots’ helmets. In addition, our pilots in Syria work in a special outfit: you’ll never see them in it back at home. It’s not just a helmet and a G-suit: it includes weapons, ammunition, surviving kit. Even the special forces don’t have all of that. But why would they need it? We are going to answer that in our program.

Personally I think they're rough around the edges. American aircraft may not be as sexy overall, but even the A10 is light years ahead of some of these aircraft. There's a reason that Russia has been able to build these aircraft for so cheap. But I do agree that they are sexy looking, kind of like a w**** and a topless joint that's open till 4:00 in the morning. I'll take the American high price hooker that only goes on the top levels of the hotel. They're both hoes, but one is definitely more high class than the other. But in the end they get the job done. It'll be interesting to see if ever, what Russian front line hardware does against us Frontline hardware in a everything but nuclear war. The Russians are good. I think we're better. Let's hope we never find out.

The Su-25 is a front-line attack aircraft for infantry support, its survivability is higher than that of the Su-34, which is better to choose when you are going to destroy the enemy's air defense radar. I got into DCS to fly the A-10C warthog, and ended up falling in love with the Su-25T... Obviously the DCDS modules are opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of difficulty and complexity so people end up using the A-10C but the Frogfoot is a squat little hammer. The range of weapons and capabilities in the "T" variant is unreal. Frogfoots and Stechkins in the same video... im a simple man... i like lol

The russian mod went all out with this video. I love it and I usually talk crap about russian military videos. Putin was smart to give his militay actually combat experience. It will pay divide ends in the long run. Sometimes I wonder why Russia and the USA have to be natural enemies because there is so much alike compared to other adversary countries when it comes to the people and the type of society it is....sucks. Maybe one day they can be allies or atleast partners. The rest of the world would shit if that happened lol.

Russia has something that US doesn't have, enormous amount of natural resources. Even Russians themselves don't know how much they have. US would gladly steal it, but they can't. That's why they are enemies.

We were all Allies in ww2 banding together to fight the fascist Nazis at the end. Stalin didnt want to outright fight hitler at first but kept the deep north industries ramping up. Hitler betrayed stalin. Stalingrad was some of worst fighting and suffering of ww2. USA and USSR raced to berlin to kill or imprison hitler and/or inner circle warcriminals. Russian troops got to the bunker hours before the Americans. Power struggle in europe between the two big boys ensued. Then after that the reserve happened with attention now turning with beating the Russians to the last stage of the WW2.The Pacific sea war and invasion.. Meanwhile Russia was amassing countless troops and sea assets toward japan. Then Nagasaki and Hiroshima occured the japanese gave up.Then the rivalry and distrust that started during ww2 working together went to who ever has the most nukes runs the world. Chinese Russian and Western Militaries have been playing evil games with each other ever since. IF NOT WE WOULD ALL BE ALLIES ps the real story is much longer

My understanding is that it was at twofold process. One was the distrust and psycho reaction to the word communism. Oh I'm sure we understood real well that communism would be bad for our way of life, but still I think that the reaction was above board to the actual threat, and the second part has to do with the Russian psyche. They're paranoid always have been probably always will be. Maybe it's the vodka. If they could just get over there feelings of being second or third best, and just accept that they have accomplished enormous things since the revolution and beyond and just understand that having a strong military is necessary for their survival but it doesn't mean that you have to be militant. But we also have to remember the history and that guides them and it will take a long long time for some of that to change if ever.
