I genuinely love videos like these, actually demonstrating that the AI by default of the Combine soldiers isn't bad or mediocre, it simply was put in an environment that was not for them, or in other words, the AI was put in situations their AI usually cannot handle effectively or even can't do certain functions. The only thing I'd add to them is probably increase the amount of soldiers that can shoot at a target (instead of 2, probably 4 or 6), let them kick down obstacles in their way, like in EZ:2 and let them use the SMG's altfire.

Got a better one: A rebel stronghold was made in the area, but then they were overrun before the combine knew it and they sent their soldiers into a death trap. They thought it was rebels but it wasn’t so they needed to clear the place.

They need to find a way to “lock” the VR controls into normal FPS mode, (turning head doesn’t change viewpoint) and let you press a button to switch into Alyx type controls to manipulate objects and fight from cover. That would let us bring this type of satisfying enemy AI into VR

Para que funcione correcto los zombines de el Sabrean's necesitas el episodio 2 y 1 de Half-Life 2 (pero creo que puedes instalar el Zombine NPC Addon para que funcione, no estoy seguro) a y el Headcrab Takeover permite modificar a los zombis en la parte de configuracion podiendo hacerlos muy letales o mas interesantes, los zombis tendran mas animaciones como actuar como cadaveres o "dormir" esperando a que te acerques para caer en su trampa, agrega fastbines o como quieras decirlos que paresen un fast zombie normal (si lo spawneas o si no es un bonemerge entre la victima y el modelo del fast zombie) y estos tienen la habilidad de usar granadas como los zombines comunes y este addon reemplaza a todos los npcs cuando le caen un headcrab con su modelo de zombi correcto si tienes el Sabrean's, en cambio si el npc no tiene su propio modelo o no tienes el addon del Sabrean's se convertira en un "bonemerge" que es el mismo modelo del npc pero mezclado con partes de modelos de los zombis vanilla, es interesante pero falla obviamente en algunos casos.

Use HL Resurgence Combine soldiers, their AI and squad tactics are a lot better. (Requires VJ Base) [unlike the HL2 version, they can fire while running, will attempt to surround targets, and use distance to their advantage without letting their targets close the distance.]

Because the game supports the same engine so the guy bought the engine license and then he added mod support which causes valve to buy the game and then later improved it into a more of a creepy singleplayer mode with you forced to spawn NPC and more so half life inspired gmod so Garry's mod is pretty much still alive
