Combining die cuts with the Magic Iris

Hands down the most original magic iris card! Obviously took a lot of planning- positioning the sausages and placement of leaves, etc, not to mention the cute factor!

This is such a stinkin' cute card! You could also add a die cut circle in acetate behind the "magnifier" balloon frame to make it really look like a lens.

I did try this on my first one but found the acetate to be distracting so I eliminated it from the design.

I love this! I just ordered the Iris die. It is very expensive... sure wish it had a die for each piece so you could cut it all at once! Darling card!

Jan Shaffer - oh no, I’m very glad it only has one of each. It’s already going to take me a long time to save up and be able to purchase it. If they had three copies of the main dies, the set would need to be three times as expensive! Having to cut three times with the one die is inconvenient, but I’m glad they decided to keep it as affordable as possible.

It was 89.00 for me ... I have never ever spent that much on any die! I got the 3 parts and that doesn’t include the stamp and die set to decorate.

I kinda wish they had an “add on” die set of those (3?) pieces you need to cut multiples of. I wonder how many people would actually buy one or two ... I probably would, ho hum ... laziness abounds?!

Sandra Lindley I guess my problem is cutting it in different colors would be easier with more pieces. It is like cutting words from a set that isn’t alpha numeric.I just want to cut and get onto building. I am excited to get mine anyway!

Hello! We use a our Lawn Cuts dies with a die cutting machine to cut out the pieces to create the cards. Some of our videos show the process but it's not very interesting so we stick to showing just the creative parts of cardmaking. Thanks so much :)
