Out of all of the guitar instructors online that I’ve come across you are by far the best teacher for me I love this simplicity that you put into your lessons

I am so glad that you make things simple. Most ppl dont do that. They fly through chords expecting EVERYONE to know how to play them. I've been playing for over a year but not everyone has & might not know even the basic chords. So thanks for keeping it simple for us that hasn't been playing that long.

I recently started and this was the first time I came across something where I was able to play chords and licks together, as well as feeling a rhythm in the melody. Really appreciate it! So much fun!

Hey, Juno, do you have a recommendation for a metronome that doesn't sound like a robot, something resembling actual music; what do you use/suggest? (or anyone listening here) Thanks for the vid-lessons. We go way back. :)
@raccoon60723 жыл бұрын
This response it's probably 9 months to late but I use backing tracks one can find on yt. And try to the keep up with the tempo. So not any metronome.

That's an Em add 9 you're playing, if you notice you're blocking the 7th with the 9 and you need the 7th to make it a minor 9th, I've mistaken it as a minor 9th for years until another guitarist made me realize it's a triad with a 9th, I use it a lot myself in songs like Weyu etc F#m add9 to C#m9...
@JUNOtheArtist4 жыл бұрын
Yup! I made that correction in the follow up video, nice catch! :)
@GaryTisdaleFungkSta14 жыл бұрын
@@JUNOtheArtist Yeah, I had a friend who said I should do a video on misnamed guitar chords, which I myself wasn't aware of until I started learning Chord Chemistry, I don't know if it's still called that and I learned commonly mistaken chords like add 9's and maj 7th sus2 that are mistaken for maj 9th chords and why chords like A/B would be an 11th and not a 7 sus 4th etc... Keep up the Gr8 work you're doing and hope you inspire more of the black youth's into picking up and learning an actual instrument, since so many have abandoned that to become Box Musicians and a bulk of their music being based on loops, no changes no vamps etc... lost art to R&B, that only Neo Soul & Smooth Jazz still contain

What effect did you use to make ur guitar sound like that?
@brettwho78814 жыл бұрын
It's a little bit of reverb...probably from the amplifier...many combo amps have a reverb knob that you can dial in how much reverb you want...also sounds like she might be using a slight delay...you can get pedals also that produce reverb and delay.
