I saw it in the shop and I was genuinely stunned at how small it looked, sat between Brickcross and the Museum was just embarrassing when they are so much bigger and better yet cost less. The official name for it is, "X-Mens Mansions Garden Shed", people keep forgetting about the shed part and think the set is based on the mansion.

I ordered the xmansion on November 1st and I’m still waiting for it to be delivered after 4 days . Lego is very slow at shipping , I even selected next day delivery so I’d recommend to pick it up at the store instead of online if you want it fast

It should be 3-5 day shipping. Also there was a sale with a promo, so I’m sure they’re doing a lot right now But yes, I always go in store on the first if I don’t want to wait for something

Lego only ships packages on workdays, meaning orders cannot be shipped on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Orders placed on these days will begin processing the following Monday or the next available workday. I’m also waiting on my package, so I know how hard it is when you just can’t wait. I think I’m one of like a handful of people ok with the size. An extra floor would have been cool, maybe just on floor of classrooms, one floor of bedrooms, but overall I’m good. And I would like this to be something that continues. One large one year followed up with a smaller set. Next year I’m hoping it’ll be the Baxter building, since we’re getting the Fantastic 4 into the MCU. Guess we’ll have to see what sets they’re releasing in January to see what the big set will be.

height is fine just not wide enough. I do mils plates. I did 1 regular 32x32 plate and couldn't put some of the items down after building since it's 6 studs wide. My fingers do not fit in it. They should have removed the ally way and some of the grass to make it 4-6 studs wider. Best version would have been 3 floors 1st floor was the danger room/Celebro. 2nd and 3rd floor the actual building

So, I heard that the reason why the X-mansion was smaller and had less minifigures was because of the construction figure for Captain America 4. So, what I heard was that the head of the construction figure section of the superheroes line wanted to make one for Captain America 4, but there was no more budget to fit it and the vast amount of printed pieces and vinyl wing pieces that the head wanted. Then they went ahead and took a bit of the budget out of the X-mansion so that they could make the Cap construction figure. Because of this it led to it being the same price as other modulars but smaller and with less minifigures, all so that the construction figure line wouldn't die. Not only does this piss me off that the construction figure line is still going but it also pisses me off that we would of had a bigger mansion with more minifigures if it weren't for the construction figure line.

Nope nope nope. One thing doesn’t have anything to do with the other. I was the one who was saying that the construction figure’s prints could’ve been used elsewhere. It was specifically that it was taken from the Mansion and that’s why it’s smaller. It could’ve been used in any other Super Heroes set. It could’ve been leg printing for Captain America or a second Christmas sweater in the advent calendar. Hopefully that clears things up. I don’t want to spread misinformation

Thank you for clearing that up, I will have to have a word to my friend about him giving me misinformation. But I do agree, those printed pieces for the construction figure could of gone towards the other set. Myself and many others all wish that the construction figure line would just end, as not even kids like them and they are just purely shelf warmers at this point. It would benefit Lego greatly to just cancel them and use their money on making other sets better quality.

Seeing them all together I think the X Mansion definitely looks way too small to fit in nicely, but only because of the Sanctum; maybe that is too big?. I hope once we get more Marvel Modulars that aren’t sky scrappers it’ll help blend them in better (Though Oscorp next please!). I think alternatively they should've ditched the front footpath that lines them up and just had the grass to allow for a bit more house space. Just off the top of my head theres a few future modulars they could do with grass over pavement to tie them in as an area outside of the city, like Tony's Malibu House, Avengers Compound and Castle Doom.

Wow, I am actually speechless. Gwp sold out days before it even came available to public, ridiculously was going to buy it day 1 but wasn’t logged in to my account so I say November 4th as the date and said “wow that’s weird” maybe they are just delaying it. Skip to the fourth I add to cart at 11:59 and no gwp. Actually so dumb and they don’t even have a thing on their website telling you that hey if you join our insiders which they are trying to push you can get the set early but they don’t tell you that unless you read the press blogs but what is the point of making it last to the 9th when it doesn’t last til official release. AND on top of that there is a lot of people that aren’t big fans of the gift with purchase who didn’t buy the set because of how overpriced it is and are waiting for 2x points. I want the set, I have bought almost every marvel d2c set since the original helicarrier aside from the garbage ones like black panther and hulkbuster. At least the d2c isn’t as crazy displayable as the taxi because I have a city set up with Mocs and the marvel Modular’s and it fills my street. Ugh Lego overpriced greed and not stocking enough to make the price a little worth it

I think the mansion was any bigger. It would be way too much money and then it would drive the price up of every other Marvel DC Star Wars direct to consumer sets ruining the enjoyment of buying Lego. This is why I have not bought the avengers Tower because it’s too much money and I wish they would lower their price.

The x-mansion is NOT a modular. Others are located in a city but the mansion is supposed to be hidden in the countryside and has nothing to do amongst them. So the size critics compared to others is not pertinent, while true compared to the expected realism.
