In some ways, you have to pick your poison. If you have 0 loss, either the yield is really low or the sample is dirty enough that you're going to get docked. You have to figure out what causes the lowest loss.

Small combine is probably why. And small fields. Staw walker combines gotta slow down when in good yealding land or it all goes out the back gotta let gravity work. This is where the rotor shines.

Agree manufactures/owners don't concentrate on one aspect of harvesting also I know grain men who are averaging 80 to 90 acres in ireland It seems a fine machine though really pushing boundaries some great design engineering

I saw a video from ( I think ) Montana. They use 45 foot headers because they could move the combines on the road without having to remove the header. 50 foot would be a bit too wide😅
