I was there last night for top 8 -- the energy levels in the crowd was insane. Cuddle_Core may have lost the set but she won everyone's heart in the crowd. The grand finals for SFV between Idom and Caba was absolutely insane levels of hype I almost had a heart attack watching that one lol

I'm glad Majin acknowledges that T7 is basically esports. It lacked so much content and has horrendous netcode. It was too serious of a Tekken game and while it had it's fun moments, they get drowned out pretty quick if you aren't a true competitor and I imagine even they're exhausted of the game. Here's to a T8 announcement at either Evo or TWT Finals and hopefully it isn't just UE5 T7.

They were the top characters in the game On release, and to a lesser extend still are. They were pay to win essentially

Basically, a lot of the original roster for Tekken 7 and some of the legacy characters as DLC require a lot more precise execution to learn them. The new DLC characters don’t require this precise execution, it’s pretty easy to do their high damage combos compared to older characters which sometimes don’t even do as much damage for the amount of precision you need. Basically, low execution high reward is the reason people don’t like the DLC characters.
