Yo, RAY RAY is a f*ckin’ beast man. He’s always outsmarting or finding a way to land a good clean hit to finish off people. Others usually only beat him by cheap tactics and not giving him enough time to counter. Best believe when he does have the time, he guarantees a solid impressive win. @@javiderivia4224 -I remember damn near going undefeated in TNS tourneys in the past. As far as majors, IDK or don't remember. But damn I sure would love to see it especially an EVO win. Another thing, the skill of a lot of these players in the tourneys nowadays has drastically increased especially Romora along with dudes like Liberal Terminator that popped up. I'd like to see their prime now vs the top dudes 10 years ago. Like for real, Flocker was one of my absolute favorite UMvC players but I haven't seen him win in forever. Plus, there's a shit ton of Chris G team/Morridoom copycats. Escalante like 2 months ago was on fire and in the past, I don't remember him being like a final 4 contender. I could be missing some tourneys cuz I don't really see Joey D, Sacktap, or Jabrill who won EVO last year as much as I used to.

Can someone explain to me the usage of snapback at 1:43:37 and why it works like that?

So snapbacks are meant for you to snap out an opponents point character and bring in another one right? Well since Romora only had Vergil left, the only thing the snapback would do is knock the character back. Snapbacks are generally pretty fast, so Evasion used the snapback to prevent Romora from hitting Zero(the fact that the snapback actually hit Vergil meant Romora was hitting a button right there, or not blocking) Then Evasion used X factor to confirm the snapback hit into a kill combo.

Because other stages are not that clear to play. There are some good stages like S.H.I.E.L.D Airshow or Danger Room but Bonewonderland (this snowy stage we use) is the clearest one to play.

@JDDK28 large majority of spectators dont fully understand this games META, they only know what they can see via eye test. The counterplay for a lot of comps are either specific comps themselves, or individuals (when you go lower on the tier list) but there are some top tiers who struggle fighting certain characters. This is still a team fighter, so a lot of weaknesses like that aren't easy to capitalize on unlike 1v1 fighters. But even within that, the players playing those particular counterplay comps aren't even in attendance at this event. But feel free to join their ranks and we'll teach you how to take those players down
