My Mercury is the lord of 2th and 5th house. It is retrograde at 8th degrees from sun both in aries 12th house. Currently running Saturn mahadasha. I had experience a lot of humiliation during this dasha specially during Mercury antardasha and praty antardasha

Sir, normally it is said that direct Venus is combust within 10 degrees and retrograde within 8 degrees. And almost all the software follows the same principle.I have read most of your articles in which you mention that direct Venus is combust within 8 degrees and retrograde Venus is combust within 10 degrees. Which is correct? Is the translation of Surya Siddhanta pertaining to the combustion degrees of Venus wrong?

Idk about this one because I've seen some really famous people with sun, jup conj in fire signs and really beautiful and stunning people with sun venus conjunction. And most of the times its close conjunction. Seems like good for non living things right? Because their living significations were bad to almost non existent(sun, jup conj problem with father, no father figure)

How about a functional benific planet getting combust with Sun for an ascendant where Sun is also a functional benific and the planet getting combust is also the best friend of Sun like Jupiter. For example , Jupiter getting combust with Sun in 7th house for a Scorpio Ascendant. Is Jupiter considered weak here ? Is this not a Kendra - Trikona Rajyoga happening in Kendra ? Jupiter by itself is a huge and hot planet. Does it still become weak because of this combustion ? How do you see this ?

@@raffg7237 Could you please elaborate on combustion in 7th house being bad. Even though 7th house is a Marak house but it is the bhavad bhavam of two auspicious kendra houses (4 & 10). 7th house is the higher octane of status (since it is 10th from 10th house) as well as the higher Octane of Comforts (since it is 4th from 4th house). And this kendra-trikona rajyoga being in the 7th house is aspecting the Lagna , right ? Coming to the d9 chart , It is sagittarius lagna in d9 with lagna lord Jupiter in the 9th house of Leo , conjunct with Mars. Sun & Saturn are together in the 10th house of Virgo. Venus & Mercury are together in the 4th house of Piesces. How do you see this now after relating d1 to d9 ?

Sir, how should one understand classics attributing good results to conjunction of Sun with some of the other planets? Even if there is no combustion, the planets would be in a weak avastha. And especially in case of conjunctions of multiple planets, there is high chance at least one of them would be combust. How should one interpret what the classics are saying in this matter?

​@@ShubhamAlock I do not doubt your knowledge or the knowledge from the classics. I realise both are correct. I just don't know how to put them together. If Sun forms a conjunction to which classics attribute good effects, but there is combustion, then should I expect good effects due to good conjunction or bad effects due to combustion? Did the classics take combustion in account, or are these descriptions just for cases of conjunction without combustion? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.
