I have a problem, I'm a doing a final master project at the University and my theme is '' Propagation of Smoke and particles from a burning car in a big closed spaces like garages" and I have looked your tutorials and I have the idea how to make for example the burning tank of the car, but do you know where I have to set the smoke equations or to see the distribution of smoke from the burning car. Hi Vlad, great tutorial and very thoroughly presented. Just a minor thing there. Correct me if I am wrong but since your injectors are practically all defined as a single boundary zone, then shouldn't the fuel mass flow rate set at 14:00 be equal to the total fuel mass flow rate you calculated rather than the mass flow rate per injector?

They have this at ansys/com/industries/construction/fire and smoke propagation and I wrote them an e-mail with what solver to make the simulation with CFX or Fluent? but they didn't response. Do you know any web sites that I could see more information how to make the simulation and especially the smoke distribution and particles distribution. u can create geometry from video. for example when he explains how to mesh, below the ansys screen in the video u can see the measurement scale. according to this i see that the diameter of the big cylinder is around 600 mm and length is 4000 mm. air inlet and fuel inlet can be found may be with this way..
