There are many girls who grow up to be women who have their intuitive skills skewed because of childhood trauma. CPTSD skews intuition which turns into various things like people pleasing and so on. As kids girls would bring things up or try to process things and the adults would shame, ignore and hurt. So when they have something alert them, they won't listen or not even have it in existence.

Years ago I had to go to a laundromat because my washer at home wasn’t working. While waiting I ran into a young man that I had interviewed for a job( he didn’t get the job). He recognized me and we chatted. He introduced me to his roommate and we all realized that we had friends in common. She talked about her friends boyfriend and his job in DC that he also traveled a lot. She couldn’t remember his name but I refreshed her memory. Since we obviously knew the same people. If something is off then something is off, we just don't know what it is, the majority of times. But majority of women have a built-in 6th sense (gut feeling), this "gift" is actually related to our primal survival instincts so it only predicts "bad stuff", it's uncomfortable. We will try to rationalize it because it's an emotion after all, we might think is our anxiety playing tricks on us, but it's not. Sometimes we follow the wrong lead, in the case of relationships we might think what's off might be cheating , but then you find evidence that the guy is not cheating, and you think you are crazy and overreacting when your gut feeling might be about something else like, the guy is about to dump you, the guy has stolen from your bank account, is planning to rob your house, he's even planning on hurting you or sabotage you in anyway. I've done that too. I was right to cause as soon as I found 3 missing I literally took off work and I moved myself out, so when he came home I was not there. I am a natural detective. I once caught my former cheating because I needed to use his laptop. Mine wasn't working and I asked can I use your laptop he said sure. While I was on it he texted me if I could email his friend some pictures I said sure got the info upload the pics sent them off. I see a folder saying Old Pics. I'm thinking memory lane pics. Nah it was 10 folders of random women's Nudes. ACTUALLY one of the folders belonged to a FRIEND! Yeah I let them both have it. He said they're old pictures.
