Thank you, as always, for the support - it has been a great Autumn for art so far, hasn't it? A rich seam of exhibitions.

@@artgalleryexplorer yes we’ve been completely spoilt! We are very lucky! Just wished I actually lived in London 😅 costs a fortune to keep coming back and forth on the train 2 hours each way😅😅

Sorry, A.G.E., but this American viewer is more “Meh” than not, in response to this Artist’s Gallery Installation. . . She relies too heavily on Scale-which cannot be expressed via video-and Locale, which also doesn’t translate via videography ; nor do a bunch of notes on a wall! I’ve SEEN large tree carcasses in gallery installations before, and the only thing all of those impaled apples made me think was, “How incredibly wasteful!” Hopefully, her Activism is more effective than her Art Installation-at least at a distance! As ever, a big Thank You for including us in your gallery exploration, as well as providing informative narration. I admire your sense of Mission! Ciao for now. . . .

You missed the gist. The Margate Gals just ain't what they used to be. This installation is the very definition of (criminal) confession.

Thank you for commenting - interesting thoughts. It is always good to hear an alternative opinion. Interestingly, as well, she struggled to get recognition in the States when working/teaching in California. Maybe her art seemed more generic across the pond? The land art movement, for example, pushes up to such a scale that it dwarfs her. The gallery actually struggled to deal with the scale of these, I felt.

It didn't feel like it in the gallery! Thank you for watching anyway.
