Russel Lewis who plays Patrick in this some people may recognise he played the young boy called George the youngest children who starred in the tv series the kids from 47a from 1973 - 1975 also from ATV. Alongside Christina McKenna.

First watched this back in the day in '78. I was lucky enough to happen upon it here while I was searching out some old children's Christmas drama. Enjoyed seeing it again, pity it's never had a DVD release, it was popular enough. I thought I'd get my hands on the book and its sequel and read them, but ... Come Back Lucy: Used = £95 ... New = £225 ... Lucy Beware = £799. Well, it was great watching this again, but I think I'll give the books a miss!

There is the German DVD release - re-edited into 4 parts which isn't ideal but with the choice to watch with the original English soundtrack. Excellent despite the re-edit and probably the only way we're likely to see the series on DVD..
