As someone who reads fantasy on Kindle, I feel that about the maps. What I do is with my Kindle app on my iPad or phone is I open the book on the app, and take a screenshot of the map so I can have it beside me on my phone when or if I need it. Makes it easy since it's sometimes in colour and you can zoom in and out. SO much easier than having to go all the way back to the front on Kindle. 🖤🖤

I did the same last year, only need to read Believe me this month to finish! ^^ I am someone who HATES open endings, I think the plot is so much stronger and the characters are so much more fierce and well-developed in the final 3 books, so I love that there are 6 books even though I know some people pretend there are only 3 books 😂 Curious to see what you think! 🖤🖤🖤

I was confused about this series because I thought it was over and a trilogy so I was going to buy the books but then saw the preorder for a 5th one and backed up until the series is completed

@@amada4170 yes, I get that! I was late to the party so I originally read up to book 4, before waiting for 5 & 6 to get published. That probably helped with thinking about it as a 6 book series :)

I live in the part of Texas (South close to the Gulf) that the trees only have 2 colors.....green, brown and then the trees are naked. Yep, that's our fall in these parts. I have been going the local used bookstore and have found some good deals but here lately I have been hitting the library. I have been able to get most of the new releases at the library...I look at it as a preview to what I want to have in my home library. We don't have Barnes and Noble locally either but I make a trip once a year to the closest town that has one. The closest one we have is an hour and 30 minutes away.

🖤 I may or may not have just added more books to my tbr and may now be kicking myself for not getting the Holly Jackson boxset at my Chapters Dx. I'm starting to wonder if Southern Goodbyes are just like Maritimer goodbyes where you just stand there by the door, still gabbing, talking about getting together again with one shoe on the other in hand, telling each other to drive safe when you have half your coat on, and " oh did you hear about what happened to Linda down the street?" So the tea with that Naomi Novik series is that she had multiple microaggressions towards the Black community in the first book and racist remarks towards the Arab community (yours truly) in the same book which is why I removed the whole author from my TBRs :) (apparently she apologized for that but I've never seen said apology sooo)
