I loved your video, your equipment explanations,. I loved the charm of the old city. I never get to see places like that. I live on the east coast of Canada, near the coast of the Bay of Fundy (which has the highest tides in the world ), in the province of New Brunswick. We have the Reversings Falls here. It is actually the Saint John River that reverses direction twice a day because of the highest tides in the world. I love ❤ your violin playing. Thank you dear.

This video is perfect. You won't believe this, but I've always thought of that gate behind you in your performances as an alternate entrance to Diagon Alley. Now that you've shown The Shambles in York I feel like I wasn't so clueless after all. That dog, I love him. And the song of the finale is one of the best ever composed in the history of humankind. Beautiful, Holly.

Thank you so much for posting this video! I’m a young violinist who wants to start busking and was wondering where you get your backing tracks and if you have any tips for just starting out. Your channel and you are amazing!

This is a very nice and highly interesting video 👍🙏, thank you Holly! I was especially impressed by the answer to my question 😀: being able to play over 200 songs on demand - what a memory feat 😱👍👍! Your way of storytelling I find great, one can feel that you enjoy the whole thing🙂.So gladly more videos of this kind! How many street performances do you do about a year?
@HollyMayViolin Жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊 I do roughly about 50 street performances a year 🎻

In this city, you only have to be 14 years old, or older and you do not need a license to perform 😄👍🎶

Which speaker would you recommend for casual use for busking/family events?
@HollyMayViolin11 ай бұрын
Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge - same one as I use in this video 👍 It is chargeable and lasts for a long time and no need for battery pack or power source and also has Bluetooth for backing tracks or songs, aux, mic and instrument channels and option to add chorus (instrument channel) and reverb effects (both channels) and high, low and mid settings on both channels, too 🎶

Sometimes I hear like backround music of a song when violinists are playing. How does that work
@notapplicable54033 ай бұрын
I've read a few reviews about the battery in the loudbox mini charge going bad not too long after purchase if you're not using/charging it regularly due to it's material. how often do you use the amp? and have you run into those problems? Thanks!
@HollyMayViolin3 ай бұрын
I use this amp roughly every 1 or 2 weeks and charge it after each use (most of the time). I do own two as I wanted to have a spare so I do rotate them every 2 to 3 months so that they both get used however I have not run into any problems related to the amplifier so far 🎶👍

@@HollyMayViolin awesome thanks! And what mp3 player do you use?
@HollyMayViolin3 ай бұрын
@@notapplicable5403 I don’t use it anymore, I download my tracks to my phone and plug my phone into the amp now 🎶 it is easier that way for me, personally 👍 However, it was this one I used in this video 👉 www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-AiMoonsa-Recorder-function-Earphones-Black/dp/B09Q8QJXH5/ref=asc_df_B09Q8QJXH5/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=570437834317&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7634536542428170536&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007266&hvtargid=pla-1638448464461&psc=1
