I think the eggnog price included offsetting the cost of all those decorations, because that was just crazy... but it is NYC. It’s sad about Barneys closing down, but all the locations are closing, so it’s not only due to the increase in rent, regardless how ridiculous that was! They’re filing bankruptcy. But, ahhh (insert angels singing)... Nordstrom... isn’t it just the best thing ever? Love the selection of quality merchandise, love their merchandising, love their friendly and helpful staff, but the best bit is their amazing customer service ethos! No other can rival Nordstrom’s customer service! It is the standard by which all others are measured! Sorry to see you didn’t make any purchases besides Sephora. Or maybe you couldn’t show all the Christmas presents because the recipients watch your social media. 😉😉😉 I thought with the two of you hitting NYC stores, you might have to buy more suitcases to take all your festive acquisitions home! 😉😊 Merry Christmas!

I live in Alaska, and have not been to New York for many years, but I must say the quality shopping experience seems to have disappeared (it used to be an exquisitely elegant "posh" experience). Much prefer the display and merchandise quality aesthetic of the London stores to New York. The latter seems to have adopted the frenetic, minimalist Tokyo/Hong Kong vibe - so non-luxe/tasteful. Thanks for clueing me in to why I don't need to shop in US stores in person.

Wow you just summed up what I was thinking but couldn't quite verbalize. NYC stores (well some of them) have lost that posh feel that they had in the 80s and 90s. I don't care for the stark white, minimalist feel.

Just leave it at your hotel after you check out. Most hotels will offer free luggage storage for ~8 hours after you check out. That's what I do anyway :)

Loved this vlog. Just a little thing about the fake fur, remember its pretty much just tiny plastic strands that easily can get into nature and be destructive. Its really better to just buy things with no fur at all, fake or real.
