guys.. I think she's not going overboard at all tbh. I'm about to finish up college and its nice to have a mirror and a lot of cozy items on your bed and walls to make it homey. all her classes are online so she'll be spending a lot of time in dorm more than the majority of us have during our college experience. also she is probably buying cooking supplies for food in the fall because the dining halls might have a weird situation. her sister has graduated (I think) so she's in good hands lets not worry about it! :)

I'm going to be a sophomore in college this fall but as someone who had to move out in less than a week during spring semester because of miss rona, I can't stress enough that you shouldn't over pack. I learned the hard way that it would have been much easier for me to simply buy things online ONCE I moved in than to bring everything with me in boxes and suitcases. Yes you will want to bring as much cute decor as with you as possible, but you might end up finding it harder to pack things that you'll actually need if you end up using so much room in your suitcases for miscellaneous things. This upcoming fall semester could easily end because of an outbreak on campus and in the case that you're being forced to move out in less than a week, it's best that you should pack as lightly as possible so it's easier for you to move out.

Yess!! My college gave us 2 days to move everything out. Half of the stuff they most likely won’t even use, it will be under the bed or stuffed in the closet. But in this climate that we’re in, I wouldn’t buy too much stuff because they might tell them to pack up and leave. And idk why she would stay in the dorm if all of her classes are online. I and many other students cancelled our housing because all of our classes are online. It’s a waste of money honestly.

UofA is a two hour drive from Phoenix, so she won’t be having as much as a problem with bringing suitcases:) I live here and plenty of my friends who go to UA come back and forth every weekend because it’s a very easy trip! So if she did need to move out, even within 24 hours, she could take 2-3 trips back to phoenix for stuff in one day if needed, plus her mom and sister also have cars!

Letícia Araújo hi, I’m sorry if my comment seemed judgmental but me and other people are trying to help. I mean if we weren’t in the environment that we’re in, none of us would be worried. But, I know where I live, NJ, cases are rising again and we have to wait for our governor to give the colleges an ok for people to move in. And Arizona is a hot spot. Also, all of our college experiences are getting ruined but paying $4000-$7000 for housing and meal plans are ridiculous at the moment when you could be sent home a week later. And if they do send you guys home, you’re not getting that money back, it’s in the contracts that we signed. Just be safe and I wish you the best in college 😊
