your videos visual & sound quality may cause that drop. Don't know how long you will stay in Japan but when you return back to your studio it will help on numbers I believe. Meanwhile you may try at least some cheap warm led lights you can find around.

I've been back in Belgium for the past 3 weeks. Video quality I can maybe understand, but sound quality has never been as issue. -M
