My heart died in Syria I hope you came home safe. My father served in the NZ Army - he VOLUNTEERED to serve in Vietnam the Government promised they would be treated equal and they would be able to buy a home for their whanau - long and the short the Government lied and my father served a further 20 years. In the time he was in Vietnam he hated the MP's of the US Army he was in a bar and a US soldier wanted to do things unimaginable to a young girl that he looked at was the same age as my sister at the time. The MP stabbed my father for intervening and was sent to a US prison and served three months was nearly discharged, but a Sergeant of the US Marines stood up for my father and in the end they became best friends. His oldest son was the biggest pain in the neck and often made me feel like shit, but after years passed and I had married then divorced with children we happened to start a relationship just by chance. He was in the Military amongst the Rangers the guys that lead the way and knock on those damn doors - but he knocked on the wrong door and he never came home - so my heart died in Syria. I hope one day we will meet again and I hope one day he will hear my voice to hold me in his arms once more..... TIMOTI 4:6-8 6: TENEI HOKI AHAU KEI TE RINGIHIA, KUA KITE ANO TE NA HAE HAERENGA MOKU. 7. KUA WHAWHAITUA E AHAU TE WHAWHAI PAI, KUA OMAIKIA TOKU OMANGA, KUA RITE I AHAU TE WHAKAPONO. 8. KEI TE TAKOTO MAI MAKU I NGA NA O MURI NEI TE KARAUNA O TE TIKA E HOMAI KE AHAU A TAUA RA E TE ARIKI E TE KAI WHAKA WA TIKA. HE TEKA KE AHAU ANAKE ENGARI KE TE HUNGA KATOA ANO HOKI KIA MATENUI KI TONA PUTANGA MAI. TIMOTHY 4:6-8 6: AS FOR ME I AM ALREADY BEING POURED OUT AS LIBERATION AND THE TIME OF MY DEPARTURE HAS COME. 7: I HAVE FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT I HAVE FINISHED THE RACE I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH. 8: FROM NOW ON THERE IS RESERVED FOR ME THE CROWN OF THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH THE LORD THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE WILL GIVE TO ME ON THAT DAY AND NOT ONLY TO ME BUT ALSO TO ALL WHO HAVE LONGED FOR THIS APPEARING. Capt Samuel Jocob O'Connell died 19092014 - US Rangers Hoorah Sua Sponte (I am so sorry Sam I did not keep you with me, the pain was too sharp but meet me in the doors of heaven and you will always know you had my heart). It is never the number of lives it their lives - THEY FOUGHT FOR THEIR LIBERATION THEY SACRAFICED BEYOND THEIR CALLING AND WE NOW HAVE OUR FREEDOM. Pater noser qui es in caelis, sanctificteur nomen tuum adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua sicut in caelo et in terra panem nostrum quotidamnum da nobls hodie. Et dimitte nobis debita nostram sicut et nos. Dimittimus de be toribus mostris et ne nos inducas in tentationem sed lenera nos a malo. I LET YOU GO MY LOVE AND I MAKE RIGHT WITH MY WRONGS - COMMENTING HERE WAS A GREAT MISTAKE - BUT WHAT CAN A WIFE DO.

War is the stupidest thing, this video wasn't made to promote war propaganda, it was made as a tribute and sign of respect to the kiwis that died overseas. Some of them that have actually gone over to help build infrastructure not just kill people. Maybe soldiers aren't hero's but the men that lost their lives will always be hero's in their childrens eyes. And maybe they would like to watch this video without your negative comments

To my NZ counterparts. This song makes me tear up. This song makes me so sad. I myself lost great mates this week (AUS-ARMY). I leave soon myself. The lyrics in this song, 'people complain about working 9-5' is so true and I can not express how much this hurts. RIP to your fellow comrades, also to the families. This song is so powerful. ANZACS we are, We Will Remember Them.

It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us Freedom of the Press. It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us Freedom of Speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, serves under the flag and who's coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protestor the right to burn the flag.
