I am really annoyed that Book-off is not in my country...one of the things i really envy the USA for is the fact that you all have so many stores from all kinds of countries. Entire stores just dedicated to manga. That doesn't exist here, and the few stores that sell manga are so niche that they only have a few locations in the large cities and you have to drive for ages just to go to them. The big chain stores sell manga, but it's extremely overpriced and usually only 1 or 2 bookshelves in the entire store is manga.

It's annoying because shopping for manga in a physical store is so much more satisfying, and there's no waiting for the delivery. But the availability is way lower compared to buying manga online, meaning a lot of times you have to order online (assuming you don't want to drive to 8 different stores to find what you're looking for).

@@poppy2345 I wish there was a microcenter store, but a manga version. If you don't know, microcenter is a place where you can buy everything needed to build a gaming PC, and they always have tons of stock and almost every option. So imagine that but with manga, it would be awesome 😂

Made some good deals on merch when we visited bookoff in Japan, the US version looks great as well. My favourite place to shop is the comic bookstore in my town, it's just a mile down the road from my house, so I walk there often.
