Wow. Big day for this farm wife! Come along with me as I see peanuts and sweet potatoes harvested for the first time AND get to ride in not one, but two, big auto steer tractors. Hope you learn something, because I sure did. Special thanks to my friends, Brent, Sue, Colin and Carter Leggett with Leggett Farming Partnership in Nashville, NC for letting me pal around for the day. ❤️
Would you like more #TFWFarmTrips in the future? I'm thinking it should be a thing. We appreciate you being here! Until next time, Farm Hard Live Well! xx, The Bernards

Thanks for the educational 4H Agriculture tour with real “life” people including yourself. Love the family run operations that also invest in relationships with other operational components from migrant workers to school bus conversion fabricators, etc. America and other nations were built and sustained by these dedicated earthy people working both hard and smart! Meredith, you are the perfect genuine host to share and bring out the human elements and personalities of good people. Thank you for the positive, uplifting content! God bless you.

Amanda and I watched this video and enjoyed seeing sweet potatoes tobacco and cotton and peanuts and we live in NW Ohio which is corn and soy bean country and a little bit of wheat and then there’s some strawberries and pumpkins and occasionally Christmas tree farms and oh yeah… Tomatoes for canneries! It’s currently wrapping up tomato harvest season and soybean and corn season are underway but getting off to a bit of a slow start. We would certainly love to see more farm trips with Meredith!
