Love the napkins, would be great for crafts. I pull them apart until you get one ply then you can coat a jar with PVA glue and cover with the napkin, makes the design almost translucent, I usually put a candle inside, looks lovely. Great ideas, can’t wait to go and buy some goodies.

I love Sostrene Grene. I often go to Nottingham just for that shop. I've asked them to open one in Leicester but I'm still waiting for that. I would spend nearly all my wages there if they opened one nearby. I love the kitchen bits and bobs, the craft stuff, the storage boxes and the napkins. I collect their napkins. I'm looking forward to going to the Tottenham Court Road one now. I'll probably go in the spring. Great video, as always.

Hi Mr C, thanks to your recommendation a while back, I have ordered twice now from SG and the stuff is lovely and so reasonably priced too. I love shopping with them. I bought some gold flakes on my first order, that stuff is usually sooo expensive and couldn't resist at only £1.98! I like those boxes. Car boot finds all good too. Many congratulations for your 10 year anniversary, I am a relative newcomer of about 3 years, I think it is, maybe even 4 but I feel like its been for always! Thank you for taking us on so many amazing journey's with travel, and home and shopping, meetings with friends and award evenings, to name but just a few of the things you bring us along with. We sit in your living room, your bedroom, your kitchen and your attic room and I think it's lovely that you share it with us all. You brighten up some dark days and make me laugh often. Time really does fly I can't belive I've been hanging around since 2017 here (had to count when you said 10 years), we where budget traveling to UK and I watched loads and loads of poundshophauls 😅You are always such a bright light shining up the good and bad days with your videos. Thank you 🙏 And OH MY GOD a local Söstrene Grene store, I still remember back in 200x when my "local" store was in Copenhagen like two hours away from Helsingborg (Sweden). We used to visit it every time we went for the Christmas market or summer visits at The Tivoli, to my husbands disapprove. We took ages walking through that store, me and his sister and sister in law and then he had to help us carry everything 🛍💸 Oh and the pronunciation sounds right, but I'm a Swede not a Dane so they might not agree. It's founded in 1973 in Århus (Denmark) by to sisters (Anna and Clara isn't their real names) but they where named Grene in lastname (Søstrene Grenes means The Grene sisters). :-) It's so interesting to hear your commentary about things that I grew up with, those paper fold out decorations we had everywhere on the window sill with the typical Scandinavian electric advent candlesticks.

It can be overwhelming... actual nice that you mention similar feelings so that we know although with good intention, we may not be able to do it all. Another fab video, Mr. C. Pumpkin and Mittens would benefit from a heating pad when your thermostat is lower. I do this for my kitty, and she loves it. I keep it at the lowest setting, off at night, and when I pop out. It is easy on the electric bill and has a timer as well. Just a suggestion.

I found a cheap way to heat a room in you tube that uses ikea tea lights and terracotta flower pots . You should see if you can find it. It could help with staying warm. Pumpkin and Mittens would need supervision, of course.

Hi Mr. C....What Fun!! That new store is so well presented...the glass candlesticks looked Venetian!! The stores in Britain are so much better than here in the States!! I am so sorry to hear of your heating costs. Would it serve your.purpose to get some portable electric heaters to make one room warm at a time. That is what a lot of people do here in Philadelphia...they don't have to keep the heat up in the whole house. Just a thought.
