Yes totally get it especially if your not tiny your a beautiful lady so when you havebto buy a large mentally it makes you feel bigger than you actually are butvi have come to the conclusion all shops measure different sovi never go on size anymore only how it looks

Wow! Now I remember why i don't go into zara! Prices and the fact I feel like a fat troll 😭 sizing in every shop is so different. Hate changing room mirrors too. They should try make shopping a mire pleasant experience for us that aren't 16 year old with no flaws x

Agree, not really into what's in the shops at the minute, I find I browse more than I buy! Kinda gone off Zara also, have been more interested in H&M over last few months, but they still have some lovely items (definitely over priced, though)

Same as me. Yes I can afford 60 quid plus for a dress but will I pay it? No way Jose. I am sure they have some similar to those white Broderie Anglais in most stores. Having been at both ends of the spectrum stick insect to overweight throughout my life I agree that places like Zara make you feel bad no matter what size/height you are. Have started watching body shape stylists on You Tube so I know what to look for to flatter my current shape. I enjoyed your amble round the shops and honesty. 😘

Hope you're ok maybe get a covid test, thanks for going to newlook they never get as much attention I love their tall tops and petite bottoms, everything for me is far more wearable there than zara, even if I fit a 14 or large even xl in zara its usually too short or too long, after so long I don't understand h&m is owned by the same company as zara and their sizings fine. Ty really enjoyed it. The newlook glasses were lovely, beige bag was nicest in zara.

I don't know if it's just me but at 46yrs I didn't see anything I liked except for that brown polka dot jumsuit/dress reminded me of that dress Julia Roberts were in pretty woman! Everything else, all these garish bright colours and all these short short tops/skirts etc is a no from me. I saw a beautiful stone/cream coloured blazer which I loved - I think it was in h&m can't go wrong with those beauitful classics. I get what your feeling when you came out of zara my sweet girl, I've been struggling with my mental health anxiety has got the better of me and I suffer with a long term illness anyway, but I've gained weight and now wear a size 16 which gets me down but only recently I went into primark and found nothing other than a few basic tops but all the dresses were proper short and I like to cover my now chunky thighs etc and I left feeling really fed up but you know gem don't feel insecure as your you and beautiful as you are, we all have styles that suit us better than others and I say to myself stick to that u can't go wrong. If u like something and it looks Good on you then great stuff the size!! Hope your feeling better soon sweetie sending lots of love & support xx

We all know what you mean by the sizing in Zara making you feel crappy. There Is no consistancy and all the retailers are guilty. Try not to take it to heart. Having to adjust to buying large and extra large when they should be medium is insane!! We have to ignore the number on the tag and just pick what will fit comfortably

I think Zara is very overpriced. The bags and sandals are almost duplicated in Primark anyway. I like that red skirt in the window at H&M. You’re right, sometimes there doesn’t seem to be much going on in the shops. Thanks for sharing and feel better soon.

dont feel bad about ZARA I can never fit in my own size there ( I have to size up1) their staff agree sizes of clothes there are under-sized and everyone should go size up. Als for the price quality not often there and never adjustable straps (standard even in Primark!)

In all honesty... You are absolutely beautiful woman. On the inside and outside. No matter what size you are. Clothing sizes were invented to make people feel insecure if they are not the smallest size. Clothing should fit you not you to fit a certain size. I don't shop in Zara as I don't see the point on spending £25 for a tiny top that all other stores are doing as well. I would have to absolutely LOVE the item to even consider spending that money on it. In my opinion people are paying for the brand name then the actual item. Years ago went to try on some jeans there. Did I buy any? No as they all were too short. Have not been back since.

OMG that broudrie anglais dress is gorgeous, trust me to go for the piece you’d need a small mortgage to afford! Although by the looks of it that applies to everything in the shop 😱 I should probably explain that I have never shopped in nor bought anything from Zara because.as far as I’m aware they don’t cater for petite girls like myself. I genuinely thought you could exchange without a receipt 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hmm perhaps that’s a boob tube not a skirt; totes joking 😆 That jumpsuit is gawjus 😍 The sunglasses are not my thing but you make them look great Gem Yeah I agree, most fashion retailers have their peaks and troughs. ZARA are ripping UK customers off, te same clothes in other countries are cheaper (I dont mean exchange rate!), example: elastic sleevless top they bring in different colours every year (the same fabric as they popular bodies) used to be £7.99 now £12.99! but for example Poland .....stil ...£7.99!
