From your items, I’m guessing cereal and a cuppa and orange juice for breakfast, beans on toast with fried eggs for lunch / dinner? Love watching vlogs like this, makes me laugh seeing some folk completely lost! Best thing I ever did was learn Spanish. It’s a really easy language to learn and the thing I love the most is it’s like getting your hearing back! Instead of hearing noises, you hear words!

I went lifl yesterday and ground if OK for prices hope you didn't forget the bacon and sausage for your breakfast I would of tried the lidl bean I don't like heinz beans now they taste horrible to me have funfun fun with the family love fran xxxx

Yes! This is where you excel, Deano. If you ever come to Poole I will buy you breakfast. And not at Tesco. At the Bayleaf. And my beloveds twin bothers who are properly world famous musicians (one of them played guitar with Oasis and produced three of their albums, the other one drummed for King Crimson) love the place.

I went to Puerto del Carmen half a dozen times, probably 30 years ago. Changed quite a good bit, I expect. Not that I remember some bits. 🤣

Every body to there own , holidays are for sitting back and relaxing , supermarket visits in the hot sun , 20 minutes each way is not for everyone.

Lidi is by far the biggest supermarket chian in Europe. You can visit nearly every country in Europe and you find Lidi.

just curious about the prices..damn here in Bangkok/Thailand its crazy cheap to live and eat as i work and live here. I hardly spend 9€ a day on food and fresh fruit icecoffee water freshsmoothies etc and i eat out all the time the only thing i make home is sandwiches and the random egg and bacon sometimes when i get the bacon urge=) Almost as expensive as my home country Sweden in Spanish lidl nowadays.

Mercadona would be much closer to your apartments, plus they do a great range of good pre cooked meals if you fancy a quiet night in. Also Spoons or the sister restaurant Kings do a decent breakfast reasonably priced.

Its fine Deano i blocked my monetisation cookies, since you are on holiday.The one thing i hate more about people that make their money from earning off youtube by going on holiday and then claiming the cost back and moaning about how it will not cover the cost. Is those that then complaining about it, and then saying well i'm on holiday so put up with it.I love your content but if its a job for you, schedule you content to cover then you are away.Your kids need you more than us. I turn off my work mobile you should not have to think you need to post on youtube.

Hey Deano. Grocery prices for non local products have dropped massively since I lived near Carmen between 2009 and 2012. There were no big chains on the island then and definitely not in Carmen. The arrival of a few large competing grocery stores has helped push prices down considering most things have to be imported including milk. Btw does fresh milk go off before the end of the day still? Think they used to leave it sitting in the sun during transit!! FYI- be careful the sun is super strong and will still burn you on cloudy days! A mistake I saw too many tourists make. Btw. If you keep walking left along the sea front you can walk all the way to Costa Teguise via Matagorde, Playa Honde, airport runway and Arrecife. Lots of bars and restaurants en route. Walk right through the old town you can walk along the cliffs to my old home in Puerto Calero. Enjoy the island. 😎

Very sensible getting just a fwe things. Suppose when overseas it is better to buy products you know, rather than foreign versions. Oftern they taste totally different. The store seemed a good size with a very good variety of goods. Did anything surprise you when it came to costs, e.g. milk, eggs? What I saw of the end of aisle wine prices, it seemed really cheap. Saw one bottle for 2.99. Have a great trip, watch out for heat stroke. Don't want to become a beetroot!
