You guys are so cute together. There no season in thrifting. Usually it easier to score great winter pieces during warmer months because people and stores are donating these items because they are off season and they don't want to store them. I really like that you are ole school and like nick knacks for shelves. I grow up admiring those in houses that I went with an adult to visit. i love your shelf plan. i currently live with my boyfriend in chicago and we are always looking for new places to store things. made me think about adding some shelves to add to a homey feel. we've lived here for 2 years now and frankly the appearance of our rooms are so chaotic. it would be nice to make our living room and bedroom more liveable. the only room that works is our dining room because it is also our library so there is no open space on the walls because there are 4 tall bookshevles and 1 short one covering everything!
