I love this video. It is cool to see others personal styles and how you were able to share you knowledge to your coworkers. I love thrifting and find it easier than buying from a normal retailer but I know it can be intimidating for those that aren't experienced. It would be cool to see how your coworkers styled the pieces they got with you.

You're absolutely right, Taylor: it doesn't matter your style - you can pretty much _always_ find something at the thrift stores that will be a total treasure. --- Wow, speaking of which, I'm sorry - Rag & Bone??? _SCORE!!!!_ It's too cold here still too (I'm in Northern Ontario) - but I just _know_ that Spring weather is going to come soon... right after the freezing rain and snow we're expecting for tonight... i saw that same urban dress for $30 and posted on my insta stories about it😭😭 can't believe their prices lately!! they're really over charging for so many things which makes me sad bc they used to be the most affordable thrift store in stl

Probably because it was new with tags and the original tag was like $100. Focusing on the one item out of your budget when there were SO MANY amazingly affordable and even severely UNDER PRICED items...

@@kinsey7200 nah, they’re being greedy & they know it. This is the fault of greedy owners AND resellers, who are at the bottom of the barrel. I strongly despise resellers!

@@lovely.ameeeee485 resellers def drive the price up; but I think calling it greed is a bit wild given that other items are priced so cheap and its an item that is new with tags that is priced higher (but still well below 1/2 of what Urban Dresses are priced at even online). Either way- FTC discounts everything 50% off or more so a $15 NWT dress is a steal to me!

@@kinsey7200 actually no it was only $60 originally. i went through literally every section of that thrift store maybe two weeks ago and that was certainly not the only overpriced item. most sweaters were $12+, a lot of skirts and dresses were near $20, a lot pants i looked at were $15+. sure, there were SOME affordable items but i found myself putting so many things back because it wasn't worth the price. so yes they are over charging on a lot of things now!! idc if it's new with tags thrift stores have no reason to be pricing items that expensive that they get for free and are supposed to be affordable.

@@symphoniecameron I think the store is very affordable, as seen in the video. Also FTC is not a non-profit so they buy the items. The costs have gone up across the board so staying in business means raising prices. and even at $60 its half off and its new with tags
