Just a hint when shopping in thrift stores with no dressing room: measure your comfortable jeans at home…thigh circumference, hip and waist, leg opening and inseam…then carry a tape measure with you and you can compare and get a pretty good idea how items in the store will fit you, especially if there are particular fit issues like needing bigger hips or even calf size.

When I thrift jeans I try to match up my jeans that I have on to the jeans in question from hem to hem. If the jeans in question can touch both hems it fits.

I hate thrift stores that's how they make money from donations. No change rooms so you can't return only exchange

They’re getting harder to shop for sure! I still look around because it’s cheaper than re sellers, and you can still find good vintage, but it’s a lot of shifting around and prices are crazy! Like full price for shein? Nooooo. The prices are NOT humble for donated clothing . I only shop savers with a coupon and I won’t by items past a certain price point unless it’s good and good quality. I go dressed in active wear so I can try things on in an isle (still have to get over the embarrassment, but I’m not buying if I can’t figure out if it fits or not)
