Doing a little summer thrifting now that the weather seems to be cooperating! Went in with no list or agenda this time around and found tons of goodies but ultimately walked away with mostly just denim lol. Let me know your favorite find in the comments!

I'm careful with off-season thrifting, mainly due to having a limited budget. But if it's a wishlist item, something I've been looking for for awhile - it's a yes. Good basics that I know I'll be reaching for consistently - yes. Something I just realllly love and a good price - probably yes. Anything else, I'm likely going to be passing it up. So far this summer my off-season finds are: finally a nice classic trench coat that actually fits me and it was $4 so that definitely came home with me. Also grabbed 2 pairs of my most favorite cargo pants because i love them, and a handful of very good basic pieces for layering - a solid white button up, a couple mock necks in neutral colors, and finally a dark brown cotton sweater vest. Couldn't say no to any of that!

Sorry about you getting the ticket, and glad you just rolled with it, that would fudge up my day. I don't thrift exclusively for the current season because you could really miss out on some really great items to add to your wardrobe for the coming season. That a really cute playsuit for your niece. Prices are definitely increasing in the secondhand market. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.

Yes, thrifting is getting pricey! Where I live the thrift prices are $14.99 to $20.99 for denim. Dresses are $14.99 to $24.99 and anything leather starts at $29.99!!! Housewears has gone up too 😢. I have a small budget for thrifting (and for clothes in general) so now I thrift only for very specific items that I NEED and, no matter how cool, leave anything else on the rack.
