I adore these vintage shopping vlogs! I’m also really into freestanding kitchens - think they look so good. Zara’s lack of enthusiasm for your vintage gems had me cracking up. Also, Luke, for the love of God, take every brand deal offered and get that ‘new home’ money pot topped up. And by that I know you are really working hard to make it happen, and the housing market is ridiculous etc etc, and we all love the fact you are so genuine and only work with brands you really love, but just be selfish and take any cash offered for a bit! ❤️

I loved going to that antique market, virtually! There were so many things I would have loved to buy but hard to tuck them into the overhead bin on return to Canada! That soup looks delicious, must try it myself. Soup at this time of year is a must. Another great vlog, thanks!

Painting is beautiful! Zara's face when you showed the pot was hilarious! My Nanna had a similar Flour Tin but I also remember some plastic ones she had "The BeRo Men" and I think their Bowler hats were the lids! They were my favourite thing in her pantry.

Love the antiques shopping vlog! The style of the chairs are 'Danish Modern', popular in the 60's-70's... I love the lemon still-life painting, it is so lovely! The polished brass knobs are a great find! Another great butternut squash recipe is to use it in Mac'N'Cheese, it's delicious! Lastly, 'feel better hugs' to little Maggie Moo... Lots of love!

I have a sneaky suspicion that the black padded chairs you asked about may be Ercol which is a British manufacturer, popular between the 1950’s and 70’s. Looks very similar to furniture we had growing up many many moons ago. Lots of info online if you want to learn more about it 😊 - Quite a flash from the past seeing all the vintage furniture from days gone by 😊

Hi Luke! So interesting what you can find at boot sales or antique markets right? We call them flea markets here in the U.S. I love the flour canister you bought. I had purchased some smaller ones from the early 1900's several years back that said flour, sugar, and tea in French. They are teasured pieces in our hutch for sure! I think the "paddles" are pizza peels or bread peels? PS I accidently made really nice vegan mince - caramelized onions (I cook them into brown mush, with a bit of sage, sherry and a tiny bit of balsamic), rough ground lots of walnuts, saute in olive oil with the onions, then freeze it.
