Hi Andrew, hope you are still enjoying the caravan. Just doing some research on Port'land and Port-en-Bessin as a base for a 10 day car and caravan stay next Summer, sometime during the school holidays. Would you recommend Port-land as a good base from which to explore this part of Normandy please?

@@andrew-karens-adventures That’s very kind of you, thanks Andrew! By the way, we sold our motorhome after 9 months. We found it too restrictive for days out, and was more tiring for me than towing because of the ride quality and engine noise. I also became concerned that something we bought in 2021 with a diesel engine might not be a wise purchase 5-10 years down the line… Just a personal decision…

Hi thank you for watching & commenting, there is so much to see and do in the area, we had 7 days there but still lots to see & do we were going to return this year in June but due to the current circumstances we will give it a miss
