The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus work with students from around NYC's five boroughs to create an original documentary focused on imagining a city with no gun violence. This documentary was created as part of the Cultural Immigrant Initiative supported by The Mayor's Office, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York City Council. Latin GRAMMY Superstar Prince Royce, NYC Council Members Daniel Dromm, Alicka Ampry-Samuel and Mark Treyger serve as Celebrity and Political Ambassadors to promote student activism and shine a light on issues surrounding gun violence in our city and country. NYC students Kadija Kone, Matt Diaz and Christopher Underwood engage in a round table discussion with our ambassadors to pose the questions, thoughts and concerns on their minds. Special thanks to all of the local advocacy groups (Peace Is A Lifestyle, Everytown for Gun Safety, Students Demand Action) and elected officials who support Come Together NYC (NYC Council Speaker Corey Johnson, NYC Council Members Daniel Dromm, Barry Grodenchik, Robert Holden, Karen Koslowitz, Rory Lancman, Stephen Levin, Francisco Moya and Paul Vallone). Special thanks to all of our sponsors who made this possible: Yamaha, OWC, Neutrik, Audio-Technica, Genelec, Focusrite, K&M.
