If you’re going to be traveling back and forth to visit often, I would totally suggest getting a stroller and convertible car seat you keep at your parents house, it’s a lifesaver when traveling with kiddos to know that you have them at your destination and one less thing to pack!

What I like to do is keep the extra clothes in a ziplock bag in the diaper bag and then I can see what I have and it scrunches doesn’t more if you take the air out. Then use the bag for the dirty things when needed.

Love the video. When we travelled overseas from western Australia to Singapore a few years ago. We didn’t realise my passport had expired 8 months previously hubby had to travel by himself with one checked in bag for himself and 3 kids (6, 11 & 14) at the very last min as we only realised 15mins before leaving home. So basically repack a 2 week trip of clothes from 2 huge suitcase to 1 and reorganise a carry on (kids had their own backpacks which had their plane essentials) to fit the essentials. Thankfully they weren’t babies because he barely managed to get under the weight limit for check in (moved a couple of things into his carryon) I went a week later once I got my express passport But I have done baby blowouts (out both ends 🤮) when youngest was 10months old an hour into a 4.5 hour flight. Learnt comfort and dark clothing helps heaps with travelling with kids as you are bound to wear something from them.

If your traveling with Lap top computer you can get padded lap top carriers that are very easy and they can carry your cords and disks. Most airlines do charge you for extra bags but if you go south West Airlines you can save money and get two free carry ons. With flights they have WiFi service at 20,000 ft you can use the lap top .

Also if you are bottle feeding leave some bottles and formula at your Folks’s house and some clothes. Don’t forget that you don’t need a lot of clothes as I am sure you can wash them at your folks house. I do that when I go home it doesn’t matter if you wear the same Clothes twice.
