When you can turn away from the screen, and just listen to the voice and you think it is for example Trump speaking, this is the mark of the skill Matt has as an impressionist. Just listen to his Trump but don't watch the screen, and it would be very hard to know if this was an impression or a real Trump speech. Great voice.

Superb impressionist. but like most great impressionists he needs a good writer if he wants longevity and progression.( otherwise he just remains a guest slot 10 minute party trick comedian) Steve Coogan's career in the UK is a great model for Matt to use. I think he's doing stuff with Bill Maher producing . A good start. But hell yeah, his impressions are perfection.
