Comedian Sir Ken Dodd dies aged 90 | ITV News

Tributes have been paid to much-loved comedian Sir Ken Dodd following his death aged 90. Sir Ken died on Sunday at the home where he was born, in the Liverpool suburb of Knotty Ash.

He played a toff, a beatnik and an old woman and a cowboy, in a 1960’s advert, showing how to cross the road using the zebra crossing, you got to look daddio and like make with the people, he had a lovely voice!!!

I thought Notty Ash was a made up name, how 'bout that then, He's right about Laughter, Humour and Cracking Jokes, I remember my old grandma loved Ken, even when she had cancer she never lost her sense of tumour, 'He's on his own that one' she would say about Ken, She lived a tough life growing up in Belfast before moving to Manchester, She would tell us her first job growing up in Belfast was as Rear Gunner on the local milk float, they built them tough....RIP Doddy.

Oh, how we laughed at Ken Dodd!! The way he denied funding premature baby units etc by dodging paying tax, absolutely hilarious!!! Chancers like him have lost their “loveable rogue” sheen now we all appreciate the value of the NHS.
