Mine is still George Carlin, although I think Dana is without a doubt one of the absolute funniest laughs per minute comic so many impressions. So well done. Funny observations about almost everything. He's one of my all-time favorites.

Best part of this silly riff was near the end where he starts going into all kinds of observations about sitcoms and their popularity. "Big bang theory, don't talk to me, Jerry's numbers much higher, Larry david, dangling from my foot, get off me Larry, curb your enthusiasm." Very short partial sentences or phrases that mean almost nothing yet kind of a detailed observation about Seinfeld's popularity and compared to other sitcoms and sitcoms that were spin-offs from Seinfeld like curb. So much brilliance and observational humor was so few words. Gives us just enough to fill the rest of the blanks in which makes it freaking hilarious. Very quick-witted. Always funny. Danas still one of my all-time pound for pound funniest guys you could ever listen to. His mind is so fast it's almost Robin Williams like, tons of great impressions. Always something funny to say.

This is hilarious, strange that most folks under 30 would have no idea why this is funny - but there's another angle to this, because compared to 30 years ago, there's nowhere near as much common pop culture anymore - so you have to wonder if being a gifted impressionist like Dana, would still have anywhere near the legs it once did - since - without a large common pop culture to draw from, far more people won't know who you're doing, even if the character is recent. I suspect a gifted impressionist can still earn a living - but the days of making millions and being a cultural icon yourself - just ain't what they used to be.
