Reminded me of something Brian Regan would have killed at with that Rob Delaney joke. I feel like he just needed to start with that and give the audience more credit and make them have to buy in without the back story of everything else in the bit. Then the gesturing of the cop/taco/horn should have been sold more. At least as a audience member and even if I wasn't a avid comedy fan I would have bought into whatever he was going to say AFTER that lead in. Just my two cents.
