Michael actually foreshadowed a lot of Ryan’s life. Here are some examples: “…. And you my friend would be the belle of the ball!” Michael says to Ryan and then makes a kissy face. Ryan does eventually go to jail or at least gets arrested. Another one is “he is going to own his own business one day.” And while Ryan doesn’t actually own his OWN business, he does climb high in the Dunder Mifflin paper company AND he works for Michael Scott’s paper company with Michael and Pam
