Me too! Some people prefer Pam from S1-2, or believe her later confidence is arrogance, which I think is just misogyny. Submissive, soft-spoken Pam is less dynamic than the confident, outspoken Pam of later seasons. Seeing her pursue her dreams, accomplish goals, fail & keep trying-it’s what makes her interesting to watch. If she had remained quiet & submissive, the show would’ve been a lot different. Not in a good way.

I always loved the episode where he dates Pam's mom cause it constantly toys with who you should be rooting for. At first you're shocked and feel bad for Pam, then you watch her get angry as expected, but then as her anger escalates you actually start to feel sorry for Michael. And you think "yeah, Pam is kind of overreacting. Michael does deserve to be happy." And just when you're on Michaels side, he takes her mom to dinner, calls her old and dumps her on her birthday lmfao.

I never felt bad for Michael whatsoever
@user-we1fk4ul5o2 жыл бұрын
@@princet6084 I never felt bad for Michael either. I love Michael a lot but that whole story was agonizing to watch. Michael, we know from watching him, is not good in his relationships with women until he meets Holly. If I were Pam, I’d be insane with anger too-she’s seen how Michael is with women up close. She’s supposed to somehow trust that Michael will be good to her mother when she’s seen so much evidence that he is dysfunctional. People are really critical of Pam during this arc & I don’t know why. Every time I watch this arc I completely feel her anger is justified. I would be just as angry, if not more so, if I had found out that someone like Michael was dating my mother.
