You know, why is it that pardons are completely at the mercy and whim of the president? I thought the system was supposed to be democratic, shouldn't there be a bipartisan or non partisan commity that can vote on who to pardon? You know, to aviod this level of coruption? Pardons are ment for people who are wrongfully convicted of a crime, not to excuse your criminal friends.
