correction on wall phone checks - boomer here - had to be sure dial up still had a dial tone. especially after a transformer exploded. like the one in our back yard that crapped out about once a month, lol. The debris or electric shock sometimes got to the phone line. or God forbid lightning struck a power pole!

OMG, we had those operating in the suburbs ! When we finally got cable TV and hooked up to the county sewer system, we almost threw a party 🥳 🎉! But for which one ? For our sewer working and no more septic tank cleaning or digging up the backyard to replace a worn-out tank ? Or for cable; no more VHF or UHF rabbit ears !

I 🤔 loved their " Blue Collar Comedy Tour " special and their sequel The Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again! " Even though he's stepped down as a Comedian; I still would love to see 👀 😂 him on stage with Fluffy ; Sinbad , and some others !
