He speaks the TRUTH. In 1989, I moved to Los Angeles to be an aspiring recording artist/actor. My story is too long to discuss here, but I can speak on the "Down To Earth" personality of Ice T. I met him for the first time in 1996 at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles through a mutual friend who was a member of his production team "Rhyme Syndicate". There, he invited me and my squad of 8 to his home. We kicked it so tough that he invited me to his concert in Pomona CA. the next day. Ice T is a solid cat. His integrity to his family, friends and fans is incomparable. You fucK around and see me on CSI in the near future.

You know what, Aries is spitting some mad truth right here. I started working right after high school because I did not have an opportunity to got to college. I have worked my way up from the bottom sweeping and mopping floors to the office, up to middle management. I am at a point in my life where Aries words hit right in my heart. I've always done things the right way and to where I can sleep at night and not lose myself to the grind. But, all my mentors and all my peers at the higher level tell me that they all got to where they are by sacrificing and putting on the knee pads and if I want to be where they are at, I will have to also. At this point, I believe them because I have been stagnant at my current career path. Not due to education, or growth, or training, or performance. But, simply because I don't join in on the dick sucking sessions. I call out bullshit from the CEO to the factory worker, it's all the same to me. I am honest but fair. I believe because of that, the only way I can move up the ladder is to start my own company because I refuse to give in to the politics.
