Unavailability probably plays a lesser role there than does demonstrated desirability. There have been psychology studies in which women rated men in photos higher in attractiveness when they were pictured with a woman smiling at them. As in, the same woman would rate the same man lower in attractiveness if he were pictured alone compared to if he were pictured with a woman smiling at him. I'm sure this has its origins in the polygynous tournament-mating roots of our species. Monogamy isn't a natural state for us. The reason it's so widespread is that it produces the most productive societies. Societies which outcompete polygamist and polyandrist societies. Monogamy creates more fathers, and fathers tend to work harder and invest more into societies they're part of than do single men. Mostly (though not solely) by investing in their children. Now monogamy is dying and it looks like the future is the past: a de facto regression to polygyny. Which will mean fewer fathers and therefore less investment from men into society. Something feminists seem to think they can avoid through shaming, taxation and affirmative action. With characteristic lack of understanding for male motivation and happiness. But I suppose automation will make up much of the shortfall. But automation won't fix the inherent instability of societies in which most men are single and childless. Especially at the levels we're seeing now. It's going to get ugly. Anyway, weird tangent for a celeb video.
@miamiman244 жыл бұрын
@@jeffjones7108 monogamy is not dying, oh my god. There’s always been divorces and most people still want relationships. Guys who can’t find women worthy might have flaws themselves that attracts such women or doesn’t attract the good women. Same for women who can’t attract good men

@@miamiman24 the statistics say otherwise. And we show the signs of a tournament mating species, not a pair-bonding one. There's a lot of confusion about the human mating instinct. By design, I'm increasingly certain.

A friend can acknowledge you physically without harassing. I am male, but even I can acknowledge the crap many women go through. Some women might be comfortable with it, but not most. @@babayagaslobbedaknobba How is finding someone sexy being sexist? As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing wrong with finding a person sexy or attractive. What can be sexist is how you act or what you say. The difference between these women ogling and flirting with Hemsworth and a man doing the same is - i. He seems okay with it. ii. There aren’t many instances of women raping, assaulting or sexually harassing men. A strange woman approaching is less likely to threaten a man than a strange man approaching a woman. Most women wouldn’t approach strange men unless they thought they were in a safe space. Many men, on the other hand, don’t care. Even if the woman says no, they’ll see it as a challenge and keep pestering. Some would even go further to assault, rape and in some cases murder. Chris Hemsworth wasn’t uncomfortable in the clip. I’m sure if he’d been, they’d probably have stopped. Compare that to countless obligatory interviews and talk shows, where the woman tries to move things away from sex talk, but the other person (usually a man) persists.
@babayagaslobbedaknobba3 жыл бұрын
@@qtrust, its objectification. It's not just "finding someone sexy" when you make an ass out of yourself. If you don't understand that it's the same thing as when a man does it to a woman, then you're not going to get it, or you just don't want to.

Tim Kourbo men do talk about women’s bodies all the time and get away with it too. but the problem is that a woman will compliment a man but she (in most cases) doesn’t take it too far to the level where it makes the person uncomfortable, which is the complete opposite of what most men do. there is a huge difference between sexually harassing someone and complimenting them. you don’t usually see a woman coming up to a random man that she doesn’t even know in the street and saying “nice abs” or even touching them without their permission.

Idk if you´ve noticed, but the difference is men in general don´t feel threaten by it, probably because for most of them it doesn't have nowhere near the potential of leading them to dangerous situations. If you have felt threaten by a women ogling on you then I would guess that instead of defending the right of ogling, you should be defending the right of everyone to speak up about it, which is exactly what some women are doing all around the world precisely because in the past that right has been taken from them. At some point in life one realises that actions by themselves (like ogling) are not the problem, is their consecuences and how they affect others what matters.

Niklas Nordbäck I quote what i said: "If you have felt threaten by a women ogling on you then I would guess that instead of defending the right of ogling, you should be defending the right of everyone to speak up about it".

As a woman who used to work in the sex industry I used to get sexualised a lot and objectified/harrased, (yes obviously I invited that attention from what I was doing, not proud of it) I left that industry and I turned Christian, and I used to be mad at men for sexualising me but seeing this makes me remember it goes both ways women can be just as guilty as doing this, and I feel bad for Chris Hemsworth, he's not an object they're treating him like a piece of meat and he doesn't deserve that, he deserves more respect he seems a decent person and he's a very talented actor not just his looks, so he deserves respect for that, stop sexualising and objectifying people in general it's just not cool at all.

❤️Thanks for the endless love and support you have consistently been showing me. I really appreciate the unconditional love I’ve gotten from you, which has inspired me to give more sensational entertainment. I’m forever grateful. What country are you watching from?

I like how with #1 she’s like, “he’s a distraction when he shows some of body off,” and yet the same people will say that they’re not distractions when showing their body off.

chris hemsworth is a female to male, the "women" are male to females. just wanted to expose that real quick.

Please note in the Tessa Thompson part: Her name is not Theresa, and its “innuendos” not “In-doo-endos”

I should’ve turned it off after the narrator said “indoendo” Clearly when she was talking about an innuendo. The word was even printed on the screen! But I had to turn it off the second time she called Jessica Chastain Jessica “Kastain”. Oh Lord. If Chris Hemsworth wasn’t the subject, I would be tearing my hair out right now for wasting 7 minutes of my time that I will never get back

Tbh, it wasn't just his good looking that made me fall over heels to chris, his humor, and loyalty to his wife, is more sexier and lovable. Nowadays its very rare for a guy like chris to be loyal so yepp one big fatty check on that one
