Have you tried virtualbox? i did. i use it as main vm software. i didn't use vmware ever. virtualbox is good for linux, mac, and windows until 8.1 (and windows 10 runs, but a bit laggy, windows 11=getting incompatibility errors.) and its good for anything if ur real machine is not low as a potato pc like me.

No, he did not reinstall windows 10,he used his old laptop to install windows 1.0 - windows me,since his main laptop cannot run Windows 98 propely,but when he is upgrading from windows 98 To windows 10,he moved the vmdk file from his old laptop to his main laptop.
