- Easy to setup.
- It seems to have a positive effect on the Wi-Fi signals - It improved the strength of the signals in rooms that had weak Wi-Fi signals and It also what is shown from a test I made with an Android App called “Wifi Analyzer”.

Q: Does this device make my Wi-Fi connection faster?
A: No, it does not. What it does is to spread the already existing Wi-Fi signals better in a specific area (if someone has a better explanation I invite you to help me rephrase this answer).
Q: Does this device disconnect sometimes?
A: Yes, it does, and there might be several reasons for that. I realized that sometimes I need to disconnect the device and plug it back to the electric socket and the problem gets solved in no time.
Q: Can I connect multiple devices to the Wi-Fi extender's network at the same time?
A: Yes, there is no problem to connect multiple devices to the Wi-Fi extender's network at the same time.
Q: The LED indicators are blinking all the time - is this normal?
A: The WiFi repeater has several LED indicators, some appear constantly (power supply for example), while others appear alternately and blink (data transfer or whatever it's called...).
So as long as it works fine I think this is normal.

How to set repeater to use the same ip range of the main router? I'm trying to set a repeater (Comfast CF-WR750AC) to use the same ip range as the main router (Mi Router 3), so devices connected to the repeater will stay on the same Network. From what I understand I should disable the DHCP server on the repeater and set the repeater ip as one in the ip range of the main router, but when doing so I don't have access to the repeater anymore and I need to reset to factory default. Please advice on how to set it up correctly so everything will stay on the same network. Thanks.

Can it be used to boost an outside/incoming WiFi signal? In our neighborhood we have a free public WiFi hot spot, but we can only connect to it when we stand near the window, the moment we move away from the window the connection disrupts....so can this thing be used to extend the range of that signal (we've got the login specifics) Thx

Hey dear friend! It is not a Booster, but an extender - this is a big difference (it will take signals to areas which they are weak at, but will not make the wifi faster). I never tried such a thing with Free WiFi, but I know there is a support for the free Wifi offered by the municipality in the city I currently reside, so you can ask them... maybe they will say yes to that...!? If I were you I would try that just to know the answer for that, I believe it is possible, and if so - you are a genius for coming up with this idea! Make sure repeater is connected 2. Make sure that you connect to the new wifi network of the repeater - you are not supposed to be connected to your normal wi-fi network. 3. Hello, this is my first time using a wireless extender. I managed to get through to the website on the back of the device through my laptop. I managed to get through the repeater, it scanned my original router and i set-up the wireless repeater name and password to my liking. It finished by showing another screen which said: Repeater Setting Complete! Please Re-Connect to the WiFi. What do i do now? Do i press the WPS button on my router? I don't understand that part. When i scan the wifi using a mobile for e.g, it shows up showing excellent signal, it connects, i input my password, but no website loads up( it was loading fine with the router wi-fi) Am i doing something wrong here?

If you did setup the wifi repeater like you mentioned above, you should see a new network that you created expecially for the wifi repeater - this is a different network that absorbs the wifi signals from the original wifi network you own and has access to it after the setup. You should connect to the new network, and it should work like a normal network. Please let me know you did manage to sort this issue. Does the comfast extender have to be near the wifi router? Cause my wifi router is located inside my room, once you are in the living and dining area the connection is very weak. I plan to plug it in our living room, will that work?

The comfast extender does not have to be next to the wifi router, I can tell you that I installed it in a house that 10-20 meters (with walls and doors included) divided between the router to the wifi extender, and it still works like magic. Hey dear robbie layton ! There are 2 different passwords, so let me explain once again: 1. One password is to define the WiFi repeater, it appears on the label on the device itself. 2. During the setup process, you can to define a password for the new WiFi network, which is a new network that is based on your original WiFi network, but is possible due to the WiFi repeater. It can be the same password, different password or no password at all. I hope I made things clear for you. Thanks. In repeater mode mine also setup up and connected to the internet within seconds. However, this creates it it's own dns and sets up a new lan in your home. You wont be able to join your existing home group or use your use existing mapped drives. To do that it must be configured into bridge mode which doesn't appear to be possible with these device.

If the original wifi network will be disconnected the wifi repeater will be disconnected (it is like a chain reaction). My videos are usually targeted for the general users population, and I assume most of this population wants to know the bottom line - what this device does and if it's worth the money paid for it. Because I strive to improve the level of my videos all the time, a speed test is indeed something that I should include in my videos when I review items such as this. Since I never did a "professional" speed test before, I will research how to perform it in order for me to take that in account in future video reviews I will do about similar devices. Also, if I understand properly, Comcast is a a streaming broadcasting service, so after setting the WiFi repeater, this should work properly. Hey dear Isver musyarri ! It has a wide range, approx. up to 160 Sq. meters, including different floors. It won't increase the signal strength, so there might be problem if the room has cement walls/metal doors - In this case I suggest to leave the door open. Because I had a similar problem to the one you describe and it did help me to solve it - I think that for the price it costs, it's better to get one and try it to see if it sorts your problem, and only then jump to conclusions. Hi dear friend, Do you mean the CF-WR750AC version? If so, I did not get to review it so far, and I cannot say anything about my opinion on this specific device. What I can say, is that I was super excited to test it, and I might do that soon (spoiler - I was supposed to do that, but the package was lost...), and I guess it has additional benefits, but I think you should know that: 1. As for the speed - it wont make things faster. 2. If you read about the difference between 2.4GHZ & 5GHZ you will realize that it is not supposed to be a major difference (a bit safer, which in today's world is not worth much...). Still, this does not mean I dont want to review it, or anything about my opinion about it - I just explain about the basic facts that are clear to me (I dont claim to be too expert about those things, just reviewed 3-4 WiFi repeaters so far...). So make your description if it worth the money, I think this specific model is a great choice, worth the money and will cost less probably compared to the dual band version. Hey dear friend! It works quite the same, I dont feel any change in the speed on my computer when surfing the net (let's say if I download big files or live streaming can be a good indication). This is compared to other locations at my home office (i.e. my room, my kitchen, garden, etc.) with good reception before I began using it. It is supposed to spread the same wi-fi signals, at the same speed in a more efficient way. I got this crap and cannot make it work. firstly my router has no WPS button so I tried with QR code. It opens some strange site with plenty of ads, but not comfast site. So I got to couple of videos like this, but none of them explain how to open the site where I may login with "admin" - "admin" - they show they do, but what is the address? I lost already some time and regret already I bought this Chinese piece of plastic with no proper installation instruction. Anyone to help?

I recently reviewed the Comfast CF-WR750AC 750Mbps WiFi Repeater: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYW9goBmdtWbg8k This is basically the same device that supports a high signals transmission speed, and according to the user manual it should be suitable for a distance of up to 160 Sq. Meters. I used both of those devices up to a distance of 30 meters from the router, and it worked for me just fine. Some of the viewers claimed it reaches far distance easily, and I didn't hear so far a negative comment about the range of either one of these models. If someone else read this comment and can give their input - I will appreciate that!
