With the short time it has to rinse I would definitely recommend cutting down on detergent and use almost no fabric softener. There is a channel called 'Derrickwith2rs' he repairs and cleans old washers and has great videos on how overdosing on detergent and using fabric softener will affect your machine. It will also break sooner.
