Ingredients:
4 chicken leg quarters (Fill pot with water approx 2-3 inches above chicken)
1 cup onion
5 cloves garlic
1 tsp celery seed
black pepper and granulated chicken bouillon to taste
1/2 cup celery
1/2 cup carrots
2 chicken bouillon
1 small can cream of chicken soup
salt to taste
*Simmer 1 - 1.5 hours
Dumplings:
1.5 cups flour
1 pinch salt
1 egg
1/2 cup water (may need more)
little extra flour for kneading
Cabbage:
1/2 head of cabbage
1/4 med onion
8 oz smoked sausage
3- 4 cloves garlic
1 tbs bacon fat (optional)
granulated chicken bouillion to tatste
salt to taste
black pepper to taste

Just a tip on how I make my dumplings. I use the chicken broth from chicken instead of water, just let it cool down before. It adds lots more flavor. ❤

Don't try just do it but l love using Chicken Thighs instead especially the boneless skinless one's. It's cheaper because your paying for only meat no bones.. Thighs are the best for that plus you can cook Saurekrate with Peppers, Onions sliced and Smoked Sausage. Yummy too. That's a European dish. Very Healthy.. Probiotics is what Saurekrate is considered

Ok Sis, I made the cabbage and smoked sausage tonight. It was a hit. I made a few changes. I added Ms. Dash and a tablespoon of sugar. It almost tasted like the cabbage in egg rolls. I cooked enough for two days, so I used two heads of cabbage and doubled the seasoning. I am not trying to cook everyday. I know it is going to taste better tomorrow. Thank you so much for the dinner ideas. I try to cook at least 3-4 meals a week.
