I just solo'd for nearly six minutes, and it felt like 1. That was the best guitar playing I've ever done. Put your earphones in, listen to this and play along through your amp and it really makes you feel like you're David Gilmour! Amazing
@Hendrick93-SR11 жыл бұрын
you can literally play any combination in bm pentatonic and it will still sound great. lol
@karlokarlic18495 жыл бұрын
add a 2nd (c sharp) in that and you have the whole solo
@The_Kirk_Lazarus4 жыл бұрын
@@karlokarlic1849 B minor includes the note C#.

@@The_Kirk_Lazarus he was talking about bm pentatonic which doesnt have a c sharp, you're talking about the natural minor scale which does have a c sharp

Just play B aeolian mode. The natural harmonics gives you even greater range on this one
@simon-di7xt3 жыл бұрын
Music teacher had said it.. Everything you play in pentatonic and whatever chord is it as long as it's in key it will sound great that's why it's the most used in improvising

its a downloaded patch for my pedal and I genuinly don't remember which one. But if you google search G2.1u patches, and search Comfortably Numb, in the first page that shows up. They sometimes do explain the setup for it, and it might apply for you. GL!

Brandon Quod that’s why I love this! It boosts my confidence every time! yup, and it's about damn near impossible to make a dramatic mistake. The most important thing about Gilmour's style (in my opinion) is he's constantly using the guitar's nuances and ghost notes not only cuz it sounds cool, but to sort of let the guitar have a say in where he's going to tear it up. If you look at his hands, its as if he's got invisible mittens on. He's just sort of having his way with the neck. Very unique, and very practical for achieving that unmistakable sound.
